Hey everyone,

I heard this song today and I liked the chromatic melody line and tried to play it on my alto... and well... I started at 5 pm and at 10 pm I had the whole track recorded lol.

I had really a lot of fun doing this one.. I used 2 mpcs. soloist for 1st voice and lebayle metal jazz for second voice which had more edge in the original too..

and I play 2 basslines on tenor... can you hear them?

please have a listen and hope you enjoy it!

regards

Koen

Nice Dubby Kinda SOUND. Not bad considering you did it all well done . Nice listen. Reminds me of the music for "Monkey Island":welldone

Has a nice flow and feel. Sounds like you had fun. Interesting the way you've placed your saxes in the soundscape. Well done. Watch your tuning; slight tendency for going sharp.

Hi Wade thanks for the compliment. yeah The " sharp thing " is something I'm aware of.. and I dont know why I have that tendancy.. maybe because I'm used to tune to A=442 (concert tuning) and most records are A=440 or maybe because I'm used to allways listen to my colleague instrumentalists and adjust my tuning during playing so that we tune as a whole...
