Ok, so I'm having a major gear shake up. Lots of kit up for grabs......

1960s Kohlert Bass Clarinet.... Kohlert (Winnenden, Germany) bass clarinet, two-piece grenadilla wood body with nickel-plated keywork, standard range to low-Eb. Vintage 1960s. Completely restored to like-new condition by David Spiegelthal, with the problematic stock neck re-angled and reinforced. Professional-level instrument with automatic double register vent system; design and playing qualities very similar to vintage Selmer-Paris bass clarinets. Outstanding sound and intonation in all registers. With bell-mounted floor peg, Vandoren B45 mouthpiece, original 1960s case & modern BAM Trekking case (plus neckstrap and pullthrough). £600 SOLD

Thoroughly pimped bauhaus 'silver sonic' curved soprano .... an early bauhaus walstein (one of the good ones) bronze curved soprano. Its been delacquered a couple of years ago and has a silver plated crook plus its original bronze one (it looks fantastic). Was my regular gigging horn for several years. Comes with case, yamaha custom mouthpiece & cleaning kit. £400 No longer for sale

What sort of state is the soprano, leak-and-pad-and-key-and-all-that-wise?

photos of BC and Soprano uploaded to my media. I've checked over the sop this morning- its in good playing nick and the pads are all ok (I had our workshop do some pad replacements last November when I had my last run of soprano gigs)..... Both instruments play well- the BC isn't 100% pretty but sounds superb, the soprano has that weird unlacquered bronze patina- very interesting finish- and has a huge tone to it....
