This is a nice horn. It is ser no 96***. There are no markings apart from made in Germany beneath the number. No engraving, no brand name even. Bare unlacquered brass that appears to have been DIY stripped as there are a few remnants of remaining lacquer here and there. A nice bare brass patina is about to set in if you like that kind of thing. It will still set in even if you don't.

I bought this from ebay as a gamble, it cost about £100 and (of course) was not in playable condition as stated. BUT, it is now, because Stephen Howard has sorted it very nicely, so I just want to (almost) cover my costs and will sell this for £140 for a quick sale. It has no case beyond the cardboard box I find to send it in. It's way better IMO than a £250 cheap but good for the money Chinese alto.

Nick, i have a black sakkusu tenor sax. Bought Feb 2008. Only played till Oct 2008 as i bought a Mauriat. Looking to sell for £250. If you check the sax.co web site you can see what they cost new. I am looking for quick sale hence low price, comes with carry case, i will also put in the yamaha mp. Would this be of interest, rgds?Phil
