Hi Guys,

I know it's a big ask but I need to borrow an above type pants guard so I can make an accurate dimensioned drawing, I would only need it for a few days and then send it straight back to you. I understand that the Zephyr guard is the same

Anybody out there willing to help?

Thanks in advance, Mike

Hi there Jack,

thanks very much for your reply and offer of help, I have after several months with the help of several people just about finished making the pants guard, and it has turned out very well. I will post some pictures later.

Thanks again, Mike

Jusp picked up a Zephyr tenor. The "trivet" is just what it needs. On account of these horns coming and going here with some regularity, Id be favorably disposed to stash a bit of the other guards too. Whats on the shelf presently? Await your reply as to availability. J.I. Mayer

Being a Super 20 (Silversonic) owner i often look on ebay to see whats there and quite often i see a listing for things like the trivit you require + other bits like bell brace, key guards etc....worth a look?

Yes thats true; never enough and or no interchange 'tween Eb and Bb horns. Some in nickel silver and need caustic stripping. Have my eye out none the less. My buds a heavy Super 20 fancier. Just keeps collecting em Thinks they are some of the best horns ever made.He has trouble with the parts thing too. The 408XXX Zephyr befroe he sent it me waited ages to get its guards. One will need mods 'cause of the third leg diff on some. Thats ok cause now we'll have an extra foot.

I am constantly expanding my range of "King" Parts. If your buddy needs king parts in future refer him to me as I could probably help!

I don't keep anything "on the shelf" everything is made to order on a 10 day turnround.

The "Trivet" type pants guard fits both the Alto and Tenor for early S20 and Zephyrs after the "Eyebrow" key guard models.
