Beginner Key that do not open(octave key lever)

Hi when I press the octave key lever, it supposed to open the octave key and the second body tiny key from the top of the saxophone. This little key do not open(see in the picture) and when i press the octave key lever my sound look hollow. Sometimes the key open after a few seconds anybody can help?

I think you've got a regulation issue - I'm sure our resident techs will comment more fully - sounds like a minor tweak for your friendly tech to sort out

Your query is expressed briefly, would you say what happens with the neck and body key octave keys as you play B, A, G?
For B and A the neck key should open.
For G the neck key should close and the body key open.
What are you doing when the few seconds delay happens?

If it opens after a few seconds I'd say it's sticking. Possibly spring tension is wrong ,which means even the tiniest amount of stickingness can happen, even though it would possibly be OK if the spring was at the correct tension.

Stickiness you can probably fix with some lighter fluid on a cotton bud, spring tension for octave mechanism I would recommend a tech.

I played some sax today and now it’s perfectly working and the key opened,maybe it was just stick

Clean the pad, the top of the pip and run a pipe cleaner down the pip.
