Keeping doubles in shape

Messages

Hey guys so currently I am on Alto and Soprano saxophones, but my problem is at the moment I am stretched for time as it were and only get in about two hours practice a day, hoping to bump it up to 3. My question is, what is the best way of practically keeping my doubles both in shape? Like in a practice session how should my time be divided between the alto and soprano? Should I be doing both everyday, or one day for alto, one day for soprano? Hope I'm being clear enough here.

Cheers!
Mike

I find soprano helps my alto. too much Baritone makes my tenor worse. If you have little time to practice one instrument may be the only solution.

I don't find it makes a great deal of difference. I occasionally get altissimo fingerings mixed up but that's about all. Play whichever you fancy on the day.
