Watched this movie last night in a kind of half-interested way. Didn't rate the action/plot too highly, but loved these reconstructions of KC Jazz scene. "Pork Pie Hat" indeed ....

Had to turn it off before it finished. Rhythm section sound like they're having a race and that sort of self indulgent sax playing leaves me cold after 8 or so choruses.
