Just discovered these guys via chatting to thier sax player on sax on the web. Some lovely textures and generally great playing throughout- a very interesting and different band..... Wonder if Milandro knows 'em?

St James Infirmary- splendidly sparse and spooky, just like it should be....

And a bit of gorgeous bass clarinet action.....

Nice...
Now whats the deal with what looks like a cut off reed on top of the mouthpiece and what mouthpiece would accommodate that?

HI John,
I'm fine thank you!
I hope you are all well and playing lots...

Back on topic (ish);}

With closer inspection, I am thinking its some kind of crystal mouthpiece with colour on the top (no cut off reed).

Either way an interesting looking piece that sounds great in his capable chops.

All explained here- http://www.hsm-masterpieces.com/hsm.html (I found this via the sax player's own website)
