I have for sale here a John Packer JP043C Curved Soprano sax in superb condition, it`s just had a minor pillar dent removed and a checkover & setup from the Excellent Connollys so is playing beautifully . there is the odd minor scratch here and there but mint- springs to mind (or as close to as expected) . the neck is in good condition too .

The JP Curved has a darker sound than my rather brassy early model Elkhart-300 and to be honest, I like the Elkharts almost Trumpetesque delivery as is both penetrating and different (also I want to keep a Straight Sop as well) the JP alleviates the need to have a straight sop as well to the most degree ..

The Sax comes with a Blue & Red JP case of the "modern" type with the two clip on shoulder straps included, the neck, original mouthpiece and lig which are usable (I`d recommend a Bari Esprit ASAP) and a new unused Brancher 1.5 reed ..

This is a one of the more respected Curved sops, this one is a very sensible £200 + Courier (UK/Europe only sorry) , 5% of which goes to Pete's Charity .

The only thing I`d P-Ex for would be that Yani Ian and way off being able to afford that even if you were parting with it - and just as far off being good enough on Sop to warrant such a lovely horn.

no problem sir, i wish you luck on the sale (and hands off my Yani haha)

Pic links don't work for me (DropBox wants me to sign in but I don't have an account. Haven't seen this problem before). Not that I ought to be buying any saxophones for a while, but thought you might like to know.
