Reeds Java red - who likes these reeds?

I got Java Red 2's for alto, and they better than Rico Jazz Select 2M filed in fatness! A little softer, so we'll see how hold up. :)

I do. Funny enough, an excellent trumpet player recommended them to me. Longevity of reeds is always a problem for me. Vandoren reeds always last a bit longer for me than other reeds. The Java Reds are no exception.

I'm OK on Rico Jazz Select 2M at present... pretty good longevity

For me all Vandoren reeds are a no go.Rico jazz select and Riggoti are the best i've ever used.

I had a couple of excellent Red Javas on my tenor for the summer festival season a couple of years ago....good reeds (the again- I function equally well on RJS, LaVoz or Plasticovers.... that's Berg Larsens for you!)
