That's it. There are a lot of contributors there - eight rounds and five or more sax players in each round.
I guess we could see how many Cafe members would be up for this.
Was that your backing track, @Pete Thomas ?

I've been busy working on my Body (and Soul) but have now turned my attention to the blues in concert F# and decided to try it first on alto. I like these Jazzbacks slow blues backings, but I do find I end up playing the same sort of thing over them all and getting a bit stuck.

PS Over on SOTW a few years ago they had a thread with different forum members recording one or two choruses and being mixed together on a single recording that sounded excellent. Maybe it was @Pete Thomas who did that and maybe we could do it here at the Café next month ?
Nice one, I'll try that sometime 🙂Just for fun, I posted a track where I improvised over a concert Gb major blues using only four notes. OK, I may have slipped in a couple extra, but not more than that!

Any more blues in F# minor or major to come this month ?
Rhys
It probably won't be finished before the end of the month unfortunately.
I'm in the middle of writing something at the moment that seems to be turning into something pretty cool. I'm not sure if, given how it's progressed, that it's still a blues song, though. It's certainly not traditional blues, anyway. 😉

Looking forward to hearing it, whenever you are ready to post.
