Inside Out,,,Brecker Brothers .......

I got asked to pick this months TOTM on SOTW and I picked a Brecker Brothers tune Inside Out,heres my 1st version of it I posted on SOTW,i'm using a new mp I got from Mr Thomas.Its his new model PPT HR mp and I love it I do,enjoy.

sounds like the a similar wah i am gonna use on the sop solo, trying to compensate for no trumpet by using the sop, also a chance to use 1 of my new m/pces lol GAAAAASSSS.

Yea as I said its a more if it don't swing it don't mean a thing crowd.See how it fairs but hey it was my choice so that's what I picked.Me and you are happy so all good.

aye ya right there, i just don't get how the "swing crowd" can over look pieces in this style, it seems as if it is looked down upon (probably as it is too scary and syncopated for them) where as in real life it should be embraced as it is a step in the right direction to take people out of a comfort zone which makes their playing less predictable. As long as some get joy and extra dimension to their improvisation out of it then that is all that matters.

forgot to say earlier when i was messing with the wah settings on my sop edit and it sounded like how the aliens talk on that old movie Mars attacks, i was creased up, was soooooooooo funny hearing it, setting was quickly changed.

Thanks for the listen.I went for that Wah sound like in the Brecker brothers original version in the 1st take.Trying different ways.The 2nd was more busy with no wah and this 3rd take a IN YA FACE hard take.
My aim here is to enjoy the takes and just try a new route on each take.
