I know I can do better with fabulous ballad... and I was waiting to put it up for B O T M but I wish to introduce this tune to members .... that may not have heard it before to see what .. I think is a great ballad... that members can really release their feelings ... That is not that difficult but allow a lot of expression...

Very well played Adrian. Nice and relaxed, nice tone. :thumb:

Chris...

Got that tune on my phone, love it :) it's only the last year or so iv'e gotten into jazz/blues and the 1st time i heard this song was about a year or so ago (shame i know) :ashamed
It was played by a musician at parjazz, i had to go over after he had finished singing to find out about the song.

Lovely playing :thumb: but if i'm to be honest i don't like the backing track, it doesn't do your playing justice

Beautiful underlying tone played in a mostly understated manner. Would have liked hearing your upper register (which you play with really nice tone) a little earlier on. There is a very distinctive lowering (flattening) slur that you use which, although unique, doesn't sound that great to my ear. When you make solid attacks as in the end of the piece it's really communicating and sounds great. Would like to have heard more of that earlier on. Must agree with trimmy that I don't like the backing track much, especially the slow repetitious clack of the drum. Lots of great ingredients in this which show heaps of promise.

Saxade, very sweet laid back tone, loved the solo also really liked your 2nd take on have I told you lately, looking forward to hearing more.

Thanks a lot Guys ..... I value your feedback... Will take it all on board and keep on practising :)

You have a very clean and pure sound on this recording.. What setup are you using on this tune ?? Are you using your Datta?
