Having bought some thing VERY similar 3 weeks ago,
I just landed this for a very reasonable sum, including comission & packing to Glasgow.
They say it's "playable but needs some work" - we shall see.
I now need a rationale, workable excuse for having 4 tenors......

90 cool-points to the first person to identify it correctly ;-P

"gesundheit" lols.

Chu is "getting warm"

p.s. clue is in the RH side keys, iirc.

I still vote for a new wonder transitional. Maybe I always mistakenly called it Chu (as in chuberries)

<message>: AndyWhiteford: you have transferred 90 coolpoints to Aldevis's account.
<message>: AndyWhiteford: you have NO coolpoints remaining :-(

Wonderful! I will buy a turtleneck and a beret now!

... keep us updated about the new baby...

Pan American tenor? The c & Eb look like the ones on my alto. I need the cool points!

I am curious .... What are coolpoints.

I think Andy made them up, but It would be nice to introduce them in this forum:
With 30 points you get the beret, but since you have one you better wait until you get the turtleneck (50 points).

200 points give you a nodding audience, 20,000 original groupies from the 60s.
7,000 and Kev sends you a helping of sauerkraut in a brown envelope (to deceive Canadian Customs)

Ah the tricky "beret" question rears it's ugly 'tete'

here's a quick explanation for the uninitiated:-

Cool French Jazz Beret:

"Cool" French-Canadian Jazz beret: (a la Jazzaferri)

"Cool" Scots Jazz Beret:

... I hope that clears up any confusion, the French one costs a
lot more coolpoints than the others, of course.

You dont need rationale, you have an "ism" and I have it too and if a half a dozen others here admit to it it will become medically recognised and we can get help, or at least some drugs.

Or maybe a prescription for a sax or related gear:)

"My name is Andy, and I have TOO MANY SAXOPHONES!" :gathering::sax::hugging:

[...no sooner have I sold 3 , than I've bought two old Conn tenors to replace 'em...]

ok, after reading this thread i feel a little better, having just popped out of the sax egg, and owning two, soon 3 saxophones:)
In this context 4 is few, Andy!

I bought these two..
