How to play Naima by Coltrane

Hello

This tune is very hard and way out of my league, I use the John Coltrane - Artist Transcriptions book (Carl Coan). I can’t hear the melody when playing the complex part of the score, how should i approach this piece? Can anyone point out on youtube whom is playing this exact score, because I hear different versions out there.
