A lot of money for a Denak (Amati)!! And no high F#. I sold an unplayed Amati ATS-31 (c -91) w high F# the other year for 6000 s e k (c £ 600.00). It was hard to sell. I think the Amatis are ok but over £ 1200.00 ????? On the other side, £ 200. 00 is a very good price for a working tenor.

£200 was a fab price, the sax was "As new" virtually unplaid. The previous owner bought it new, tried it a couple of times and then didnt touch it for years. The serial no. dates it from 1978 and the sax is an exact match for my Corton Alto, same fittings same case, a duelling pair :)

No way would I pay what this shop is charging, I would want something a little bit better for that kind of money.

That's a really ridiculous price for that sax. Even from a shop with a warranty it shouldn't be more than five or six hundred quid. Perfectly good sax, but not worth anything like that.
