that spotify thread go me thinking.. How many cafesax'ers use iTunes karaoke tracks?
I'm a cynic, but I have to say there are some nicely done "Karaoke" tracks available on iTunes, which are good for giving a different feel & different range of tunes from Jamey Aebersold & the other well known backing tracks.

I have bought some nice Sinatra ballad backings for tenor-sax ballads,
a few Carole King & Aretha Franklin funk things,
there are even a few violin & clarinet classical concerto "music minus one " recordings.

so take a listen to all the 60 or 90 seconds demos- some are well made, some are cheesy midi files .
just search for a tune or artist and include the word 'karaoke'

I haven't used itunes, but occasionally pick tracks up from Ameritz (esp when they have one of their frequent sale days with tracks available for 24p).
