Saxophone beginners how do i play this ???

Hi All
How do i play the slurs in this piece.. They are both the same note so do i play it as one long note or
soes it require some articulation.

Just found out its a tie not a slur .....

Both ties and slurs are the same in that you tongue the first note and slur (do not tongue) the rest. There are some stylistic exceptions that are learned in more advanced study, but this is what one needs to know when first learning to play.
