Hello to everyone
I have recently started playing sax and am absolutely loving it.
I've been playing guitar for many years now and felt like a new challenge.
I can read music but never really learned theory or even the notes on guitar because of the dreaded tablature.
Playing sax has forced me to get into the theory side which I am really enjoying.
I bought a s/h Yamaha yas 275 which seems like a decent instrument.
At 41 I feel like I've left it a little bit late but I am much more disciplined in learning and practising now.
Cheers
Dale

Welcome to the Cafe, Dale. You are not late at all. In fact, you are a youngster compared to many of our members who started much later in life. Your Yamaha is an excellent instrument to learn on. Nice to have you here. Have fun!

Welcome! Age has its advantages: more discipline, more patience, more organised, more determined, ... At a babyish 41, you're a bit young yet. Hang in there! :thumb:
