Hello everyone,

glad to be here, I think virtual space is a viewport to other dimensions and can offer occasions to learn and develop one's knowledge,

Welcome to the forum Stedan.
Please keep in mind that going off topic is almost compulsory here, but it is big fun.

hi there aldevis, Sue, AndyWhiteford, trimmy...

Off topic no problem AFAIC, thanks for the italo-writing (though I have no idea who Gino may be...), checked out what scouse is, Wikipedia put a few words in perspective for me, still unable to figure out "lar" though, but there's time....

:)

:))):))):))):))):))):))):)))

Think of the Beatles....

In Italy there is the term "polentoni" that could have a similar meaning, but they don't say "mooshrooms".
Funny old place, the UK: when your ancestors were building sewage systems, here they were still painting their bodies in blue, using stones to fight.

(P.S. Apologies to indigenous people from the British islands)
