Hi everyone

As the title suggest I am living in the far north in Newcastle, though I am really just a southerner in exile as I went to uni in surrey and am actually an Essex boy. I started playing saxophone (alto) when I was 12 and now being 23 I have started again about 5 weeks ago after a 3/4 year break caused by all my time beein sucked up by a physics degree.

I have been lurking here for a while and look forward to getting involved here.

My brother is an expat Lunnuner up there as well. He has to buy a Sunderland season ticket as a condition of staying.

Good man - a real scientist, eh? as opposed to being an electronics engineer manque like me. I can vaguely recall discovering there is a Fleming's left hand as well as right hand rule. The right hand one is probably to do with electromagnetism, as the other one is to do with something called left handed materials... but I'm too old to remember or care!
