Hi Laura Rose,

Welcome to the breakfast room.
Can't understand how you've skipped a couple of days without a hello!
I never saw your post before now...maybe that's the same for the other all the other members who are always quick to say welcome.

My fault, new members get "moderated", ie the posts go into a sort of limbo until the moderators OK them. (To make the forum nicer than it might be if there are spamers)

The moderation team got waylaid so it took a couple of days.

My apologies and welcome Laura Rose!

Hi Laura-Rose,
I'm in Petersfield, so just down the road.
Seems to be quite a crew along the South Downs and coast

Ah, the moderators are only working moderately!
Welcome Laura Rose from the London/Surrey-ish border (well, near Croydon). I have a dear old friend who lives in Titchfield Road, Stubbington.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Are there a mix of people on here, from all over the country?

Yes, like Griff says - and from all over the World, which makes it even better! Everyone is courteous and helpful - well, except we have to look after Old Git and as his offical Zimmer retainer I feel a special responsibility.

Greetings from the Croydon and Sarf Lundun Massive. Take no notice of Young Col, he's ninety-seven, cannot read words with more than two letters and a wonderful prevaricator.
Enjoy.
