I'd just like to say hello to everyone and thank AndyB for introducing me to this forum. I'd also like to thank Pete for sponsoring the Cafe Saxophone! I've received a welcome from a couple of folks on a thread I responded to, but thought I should formally say "Hey!" to everyone.

I've been active for quite a while on a couple of other saxophone sites, and look forward to participating in some of the discussions here. as well as making new saxophone friends!

Hey Hey Randy ...

Glad you dropped by at the "ole Cafe" ...

I wondered if you would ring the doorbell ;}

I have visited your website on a number of occasions - nice work there ... :welldone

Being just a beginner [n00b] at the Saxophone - I am keen to learn all I can ...

I have a teacher here in the UK - who works me hard and clips my ear if I get lazy ... :shocked:

Look forward to chattering mate ...

Cheers :cheers:

Thanks again everyone for the friendly welcome. This does seem to be a great place with a lot of friendly correspondence.

AndyB, the horn is an old Mark VI that I've had for 35 years, and it was 10 years old when I got it. I play a Mark VII neck on it, which seems to open up the sound and improve the intonation. The mouthpiece is a Gaurdala Studio.

What did happen to my sig....hmmm. Not groovy.

Bud, I can see your sig - guess you re-typed it.

As far as I know, neither Pete, nor myself edited/deleted it. So not sure what happened. Please pm Pete or me if it happens again.
