Thought I would give this a go, the backing track Pete put together was excellent (far better than my meager attempt at playing along with it), this tune gave me a chance to try out my new Bari which was fun and very challenging. I used the bari for the first solo thru. I've always loved hearing this song played by others but never felt comfortable playing it myself. Feedback will be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks for that. So far as I am concerned you have put your interpretation on one of my all-time favourites and I commend you on your achievement.

So that's two of us happy - you should feel very comfortable.

Very good tone and choice of notes. This to me is perfect baritone Sax . I hope you manage to let a lot more people hear your playing:)

I'm having trouble listening to this sound cloud too! I've just registered, confirmed and logged into soundcloud via the Harlem Nocturne link and that takes me to a new beginners page, which has no mention of Harlem Nocturne....even a search with the ID number and words Harlem Nocturne came up zero....shame...this is on an Ipad, also same result on the iphone.....which only leaves my the laptop to get a strike out on all three!

Too hard....too hard...life needs to be easier!

Hmmmm, the laptop worked no problem...wonder why the others didn't

Nice playing Rockplayer, sounds like you could do that all day and night too!

Thanks for posting!

Hmmm, why doesn't my bari sound like that? Oh yeah, 'cos i need to have about another ten years experience that's why!

Superb, sultry, sexy, sublime! Very nicely played indeed!

the mobile version of soundclick is an unfortunate mess, it doesn't take one directly to the link. I had to hunt around to get to my own sound files... very strange. Big gig tomorrow and I'm using the bari on a few tunes, should be fun. Makes playing the tenor really easy afterwards!!!
