Yikes that`s too cheap David - that`s Bauhaus TS-Y money and a better horn ! .. isn`t this basically the same as a Buffet 400 ? (costing over a grand)

LOL - Fine for Tenors, only need one (though I do have two) , don`t even have the remote interest in even getting a RAW or trying a Keilwerth for longer than a 15 minute blow .

I think it hinges on the RRP (£850 here), percentage loss for 2nd hand (42%of new price seems pretty reasonable), condition, brand following/reputation, the seller's need for the money, and the buyer's desire for what's on offer.

Someone selling here at £300 and considering moving to ebay would be thinking that move adds another 10% to fees so £270 would be sensible from a seller's viewpoint.

For those considering this sax, there was a thread here recently on Hanson tenors: http://cafesaxophone.com/threads/can-anyone-recommend-hanson-tenor-saxes.13755/

You're forgetting the café donation so really it should be about the same.

It may be folks are holding on to their money for Christmas? I've noticed that between Christmas and New Year, when everyone's bored stiff, things sell a little more readily as they're scouring the 'net for bargains!

I'm in no rush, feeling quite flush,
still, a good offer would fill the coffer.
Not had one yet on t'internet,
just waiting a while, 'til one makes me smile! 🙂

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
