Guitar & bass Guitar learning Son

Iv'e just bought my lad a guitar (acoustic) 🙂 he has been thinking of learning guitar, and is out of work so i treated him to one (keep him occupied during the day) when not looking for work that is !
It was only a cheapie from internet (Martin Smith) haven't a clue if they are any good, but it looks good 🙂 he can upgrade himself if he takes to it and in work again. I've booked him in for a couple of lessons to get him on the right track, but after that he's on his own, so my question is... can anyone recommend any good tutorials on the internet which are either FREE or minimal subscription.

Any advice is appreciated 🙂

There are others depending on what style of music your lad is into.

My son's completely self taught on the guitar. I think he just searched for tabs on the internet for songs he liked and went from there.
