Teachers.... Am just going through this again watching my kids suffer, but to be fair they've also got some excellent ones....

Big welcome from me, have fun, I'm sure you'll fit in well!

I'll be the first to say welcome.
You fit nicely in the ball-park age for us new starters :)
I've been playing Alto for about 2.5 years now.
The frequenters of the Cafe are a lovely bunch, and very helpful.

On a similar, but different, note - I had a woodwork teacher who refused to allow me to take woodwork at school because I was a girl (has a quick check... yep, still am! :))) )
My other hobby apart from the Alto - - I now do traditional woodworking classes too.

Seems that sometimes we have to wait a while to achieve our dreams.

Hi There, Al!

Fancy having to play the Clarinet - at least you have done your time and can roam free with a Sax and get up to all sorts. A big welcome from me down by yer in Old South Wales! Do get stuck in, ask loads of questions, keep us informed of what you are up to,
and tell us what life is like in the land that Sax forgot!

Kind regards
Tom

Hi Al, and a warm welcome. I play clarinet and sax, and enjoy them both. The tenor is my favourite sax, enjoy yours.

Jim.
