I used to play alto and tenor saxophones in my teens and through university. I graduated in 2002 and haven't really played since. I've dusted off my tenor to get back into it and am horrified at how much I've forgotten. I used to be able to transpose at sight and yesterday I couldn't even work out which direction to transpose in! I've picked up the tenor again because there seems to be more need for tenor sax players where I am (a drummer friend of mine wants one in his band, plus a church I sing and play piano for occasionally needs one for some band stuff, etc etc). So here goes nothing!
