For sale: Grassi Tenor from 1976.

Just overhauled by Paul Carrington 2 weeks ago, to include:
Change 6 pads.
Seat pads & Regulate.
Straighten keys.
Cork & Felt various keys.
Re-cork crook.
Test.

Comes in substantial original case with newer hinges added.
Mouthpiece in used by good condition, plus ligature.
MP cover, plated.
Neckstrap.
Polishing cloth.
Neck stopper (champagne cork).

A few scratches (see photos), no dents I can find. The nickel plating has worn on some of the keys. If I were keeping the sax I'd probably polish them to produce a mixed silver/gold shiny finish which looks attractive, but I've left them for you to decide if you want to keep the "vintage" look. Neckstrap ring looks like it may have been moved for comfort?

Sounds great when played by my sax tutor (Dave Plummer, Leicester). He found a Runyon MP made it sound best, from those MPs he tried.

£325 cash collected, or add £25 for insured courier (1-2 days).
Bank transfer please, if by post.

5% of sale price to Pete's charity.

🙂
