My new favorite version of "Moonlight in Vermont"

Lori, I'm not sure just how familiar you are with Mr Mulligans work, but have you got an album called "Lonesome Boulevard?" It's got my all time favourite Mulligan track, "Etude for Franca." If you've never heard it, then it's about time you did. Unfortunately I can't find Gerry performing this on YouTube, but this guy does a good version (Not a patch on Gerry IMHO)

It's a good thing this 'Jazz on the tube' I subscribed to it about a year ago (a forum member recommended) and it has introduced me to a lot of players I would never of known about :thumb:

My favourite all time player

They're doing an 8 album set for a tenner on Amazon.

A few months ago here in NZ I picked up the Gerry Mulligan box set, the Stan Getz, Cannonball, Jackie McLean box set for NZD12.00 (less than 6 quid) each.

From the Warehouse (NZ equivalent of Wal-Mart) where everyone gets a bargain...(the Warehouse catchphrase)

Excellent CDs and picked up the King Curtis boxset from Amazon Uk...

I love Jazz on the Tube - newest discovery - Ralph Towner playing "Nardis" on guitar. Beautiful.
