Dave, you''re without a doubt a prolific contributor. Surely, the bottom line for You isn't reply?
My understanding is that someone on your level would merely be sharing. That's always been My position.

You're an excellent sax player but personally I'm not fond of cover tunes. How about something uncharacteristic from You?
You got the chops....Blow my mind!

As you know I've asked the same as Mike. What Mike probably didn't see was your reply in Moondance. Hopefully you are OK with my reposting these links?

You indicated that the first one was more recent and the other two from some time ago. I really enjoyed the first and found the other two good but not as engaging as the first. Hopefully others will pick upon these and comment. By far more interesting than yet another standard (for me).

Hopefully (as you have indicated) you will soon be working with your guitarist and coming up with more originals. Stretching and creating in the present tense always presents the most challenges and rewards.

I really enjoyed this. I love to hear the individuality in music. Not just the improv, but the whole concept.
Naturally, ya can't play what I would like to hear. You have to follow your own heart.

I said what I because it's always nice to be surprised. You''ve got talent and so I wanted to playfully push You. All in gest mind You because in the end it's all music........

The bottom line should always be what the musician feels......

Well to be fair if you check out my full choice of many different styles i've put up in the 1st 3 months i've been recording on my new home recording studio.I started out 3 months back with a lot of new studio gear with not much of an idea how to use and the plan was to get up to scratch recording so hence i've been posting alot to get up to speed in my recording.I'm very pleased what i've learned to achieve in that short time with nearly 60 tunes done.I just got back with my original jazz duo partner last week and we done the Homage to Catalonia track then and have lots of plans this year to get more original stuff done so look out. Thanks Wade for pointing out the new little videos we done.

Yea the last couple of years normal life has got in the way of us meeting, doing much original stuff.2013 is the year,i hope for more stuff but as said to Mike and you also know i've been doing alot of different styles of music recording in only 3 months of recording from scratch so thats why theres alot and its impossible to do much original stuff if i'm not meeting up with my duo partner.I've also tryed on a bunch of tunes to find different not used much backing tracks instead of the well used Aebersold type tracks to keep things more fresh. So do i stop recording ,posting my other stuff for people to hear how much i've learned in my recording in a very short time ? and i must say i've done very very big choice of music styles in the nearly 60 clips of which i enjoy doing.I play what i like and could not just do a 1 kind of style. Most of my pro work for along time is,has been a very mixed up bag of styles.
