Hi
Anyone used GarageBand on their iPhone.
Just want to record sax over pre recorded backing tracks downloaded from iTunes.
Don't want any effects just simple as is recording. No sax under instruments. Do you just use voice??
Regards
Roy

I think you use "Audio Recorder" and then select "Instrument" (Guitar icon).

Hi Nigeld
Unfortunately under instruments section there is only the choice of:
Drums
Keyboards
Acoustic Guitar
or
Vocals

I think you use voice (the one that looks like an old microphone)
I usually use it on my iPad, though. the iPhone app may be different.

Hi @Royston

I did the following:
Open GarageBand on iPhone
Swipe left until you get a screen that says "Audio Recorder"
It has 3 buttons at the bottom: "Voice", "Instrument", and "More Sounds"
Tap the "Instrument" button at the bottom - the one with a guitar and a microphone

That's the one I was going to try. People say the saxophone's voice so will that a go.
