fretless bass wanted

I know it seems odd, but who knows? I need a semi acoustic fretless bass guitar as my Rheumatoid Arthritis is now making the double bass very hard to play over a two hour gig! Something like the old Godin Acoustibass or a Veillette would be lovely.
We're all sax fiends.....but who can tell?

A bass player on one of the recording sessions i was on this year had one, a really weird looking thing, guess you have to be a spot on player to know were to put your fingers each time?

Yes......guess I just don't like frets on a bass. Great sound, too.
