Great, I saw Bobby the other week at a venue near me, he sounded great but I fell asleep near the end!

No single European nation has a show like this and the reason is that big though that might be, no country with a market even bigger than the UK can support a show as big as the Frankfurt one because the costs for the companies would be prohibitive since the attendance would be only a fraction of the ( already falling!) attendance at Frankfurt.

Italy, for example (a relatively small market for musical instruments) has just resumed a " local" show in Rimini (few Italians, like few Brits, travel to Germany) but it will be only attended by local Italian distributors who will be seeking the attention of the local public)

And Frankfurt is pretty much in the middle of Europe. Easy to get to and from, easier than a lot of journey's within the UK.

It was just wishful thinking that the show would come over here! although the UK does host some of the biggest shows (in other industries) in Europe and the World so it wouldn't be impossible, infact I work on some of these 🙂 but jonf is right, the travelling is not great over here!
