I have a Yamaha Clarinet in excellent condition, with Yamaha mouthpiece, Rovner Clarinet Ligature, and Hard Case for sale. It has been well looked after but not really played by my daughter since it was acquired. The current model - the Yamaha YCL 250 costs in the region of £450.

This clarinet is for sale, including Postage/Packing at £120.00 with £10.00 to Pete's fund.

PM me if you fancy acquiring an good quality instrument that is well suited to Jazz - be the new Gilad Atzmon or Benny Goodman:w00t:

Kind regards
Tom

I have a friend who wants to learn on and off (changes his mind all the time, doesn't actively want to play on and off :p) perhaps having hid own instrument will tip him over, and a bargain at that. I'll poke him.

As far as I understand the Boehm system is the norm in the UK, and most places other than Germany, where they use a different system. If Steve Howard is around he could perhaps confirm this.

By the way there is a review of the successor to the YCL26II on his website, in which he has praise for all Yamaha clarinets. including the one for sale.

Kind regards
Tom

You can easily tell, the Boehm system has 4 keys under the right little finger, but the German system has two bigger keys with rolloers, like a sax C/D#.

Having just checked it is definitely a Boehm! :w00t:

Kind regards
