Yuck! That borders on being unholy and unnatural. What a difference a beat makes!

Listen how effortlessly Paul takes Summertime into 5/4 and almost makes it sound like it was composed that way to begin with.

Sometimes a little light hearted humour can go astray.:) But, nothing was hurt, injured or maimed during the posting of the video. Just my ears when I listened to it. >:)

I have actually thought of playing Take Five in 6/4 time. It would fit better than 4/4 and may even sound like a jazz waltz. Of course you would have to call it "Take Six".

There's also the famous Duke Ellington tune "Take A Train" (as introduced by Lawrence Welk in an oft repeated jazz story).
