Does anybody know the song and artist from the latest Lynx commercial. The one featuring the Fallen Angels, not the first one but the very latest.
Thanks Rob.

Don't do it Mate ... ;}

You will loose all the friends you have ever made ...
People will cross the road rather than pass near to you ... :)))
And that Portrait of Dorian Grey [The one in the loft] will become older and more decrepit each day ... >:)

too late for 1 & 2 [:welldone] - 3 is over my head!
Ha ha ... ;}

3 - Was a famous film [Link] - Made before even I was born ...

Storyline

Handsome, young, but morally corrupt Dorian Gray has his portrait made. As the years pass, he does not age, but evidence of his sins are apparent in his portrait, which grows uglier with each transgression. He keeps it safely hidden in the attic. But his mysterious behaviour and ageless appearance begin to attract suspicion.

You wouldn't read my letter if I wrote you
You asked me not to call you on the phone
But there's something I'm wanting to tell you
So I wrote it in the words of this song.

I Didn't know God made honky tonk angels
I might have known you'd never make a wife
You gave up the only one that ever loved you
And went back to the WILD SIDE OF LIFE.

The glamor of the gay night life has lured you
To the places where the wine and liquor flows
Where you wait to be anybody's baby
And forget the truest love you'll ever know.

As I sit here tonight the jukebox playin'
The tune about the wild side of life
As I listen to the words you are sayin'
It brings memories when I was a trusting wife

It wasn't God who made Honky Tonk angels
As you said in the words of your song
Too many times married men think they're still single
That has caused many a good girl to go wrong

It's a shame that all the blame is on us women
It's not true that only you men feel the same
From the start most every heart that's ever broken
Was because there always was a man to blame

It wasn't God who made Honky Tonk angels
As you said in the words of your song
Too many times married men think they're still single
That has caused many a good girl to go wrong

Surely a standard country favourite tune joke as the melody is also used for "Great Speckled Bird" and the lyrics are known by many titles.

Confession:-:crying:Used to do the stolen act in the folk clubs with a guitar picking friend and the audience seemed to enjoy it. :verysad

I knew there was something wrong, I've got a portrait in the loft that looks as good as the day it was painted.
