A DHgate / Ali Baba £300 copy is at £1120. The seller will be pleased

I had reported some of these but have given up.

I phoned eBay to complain that they ignored my report on the first listing and to report this second one. Many buyers aren't experts and don't know we're here to guide them before they buy trash.

The buyer could have got 3 new ones for that or a genuine second hand original if fairly lucky

Someone should contact Yanigasawa UK and let them know there’s a serial criminal selling fake Yanigasawa‘s on ebay. Since they’re the owners of the brand name, they should be able to get the local police to knock on the guy’s door.

Locally, stores that sell counterfeit items have been known to get raided...regularly, unfortunately.

Looks like the same picture and serial no.
The 1st I saw sold at £1160
Then one shows sold at £1330.99
There's also one showing as relisted. All from same seller.

That's twice it, or similar, has been re-listed.
Maybe the buyers turned up with cash, looked at the trash, gave him a black eye (that's two now) and he was taken off in a panda car?

That's not difficult, I saw someone in China's ratings go from a few to a few thousand within a week. Obviously they have a way to manipulate it.

I'm just thinking of copying the photo and posting my own ad with a warning "Watch out for fake Yanagisawas like the one pictured. If in doubt go to cafesaxophone.com and search for "Fake curved Yanagisaza soprano on ebay". I've reported it to ebat several times, and the two already sold, but still they come."

...I'd probably then get a warning for copying someone's photo!

There’s another one, this time an S-901. I’m fairly sure the seller knows it’s moody, hence the 24hour bidding window. Reported but doubt they’ll pull it.

Now... who fancies a nice drive to collect this one?

Test: Not a fake, but give me three reasons it's a scam?
