EMC(2) Round 2

indeed Wade is away, and i am actually meeting up with him on Monday, we are going to jam, as he is coming to Norway on his travels so MAYBE we can record a version of this EMC2 together, if not then i will try to fit in a version..
cheers Chris for posting the backing.

That would be.... Dare i say it..? Why not...Coooool 😎

Love the name and it would be great to hear you and Wade play this together Ian. I look forward to teasing the crocs 🙂

Why I immediately thought of 'tickling a Bengal tiger in the ass with a short straw' is beyond my comprehension.

Hey, Wade, if you'll have me, I thought I would chime in with a rendition.

Ian, you're going to meet THE MR CORNELL? THE MR. WADE CORNELL? Come on.........You mean he really does exist and he's not a manufactured entity from my own mind?

Very sophisticated lines Mike. Makes what ideas i have at the moment seem like a nursery Rhyme.

Thank you Jim....I happen to enjoy Nursery Rhymes. I play them for my grandkids all the time....

Are you kidding? You're a fine player!

@Mike - I like the free frantic feel and also the edge to your sound, very nice, some nice runs there with nice side key trills and subtle harmonics.

and as for thinking Wade is just in your imagination it reminds me of the movie "fight club"

Thanks Ian,
Well, I'll just trust you as a reference. Wait a minute, how do I know if you're not delusional, Ian?
If you can get a strand of hair of Wade' s and then send me a strand of your own hair, I'll have them analyzed.
If they're a match then I'll insist to the imaginary moderation here to permanently ban my psychotic ass!

Whatever you do don't swab the inside of Wade' s mouth. He'll know something is up.....

Not much time for playing here lately, so here is a quick and dirty take on this round 7 backing:

- 'Teasing Crocodiles' (Florida no USA 10* - La Voz medium):

Thanks again to you and your guitar friend for the nice backing Wade 🙂.

You remind me of my own sound Peter. Some really nice lines. I could hear where you want to go and so you do spur
my imagination. Some rhythmic issues but as you said you haven't had much time to play. That's what goes out for me too when
I neglect playing. Overall I enjoy the rawness of your recording. I could always read between the lines.

You have some wonderful ideas and if you spent more time with your horn would ultimately develop into some very interesting concepts.

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
