Saxophones Elkhart rose brass curved sop

I've seen this on sax.co.uk in their special offers and they have a silver plate one as well. All of my saxes that I play are silver - it's just my thing as they're loud and bright and I like it but I've fallen in love with the appearance of the elkhart rose brass curved sop and at a price of £559? It's great. I'm not good at sop at all and wondered if investing in a modern and not vintage instrument may make my life easier as I love the sound and wish I could play it properly and in tune! I'm all good on alto & tenor but sop is just dreadful!!! Thoughts would be good 🙂

Get the sop checked for leaks. They're really sensitive to them. Then get a decent mouthpiece and save the rest of the money for th C Mel.
