Not sure if it's listed anywhere else.

Problem with this is that it's not a genuine SAX made sax, but one of a batch made after Selmer bought the company in 1929 or so. Probably nothing wrong with it, but if you're paying this sort of money, thinking it's a collector's item, you're going to be badly hurt. :w00t:

I did send the seller a message, but he's reply or post the text in the sale or correct things. :shocked:

These are good horns IMO, at least I know the altos and tenors are better than the early Selmers. Looks like the date in the list is wrong, as you say it was some time later than 1920 and the keywork is nice on these.

Yes, the price is too high. The altos go for £600 - £1000 depending on condition.

My teacher's alto from this run is a super sax! but he paid in the price range you're quoting, and it''s worth it.
