Beginner doubt on articulation

I am getting confused on articulation. D to B is without tongue. What about B to C ? Does it mean soft tongue I should use ? What about C, A, G, # F ?

The line joining the two notes is called a slur. It means play them as if they're a single word with syllables. When there's no line between them what we should hear is the break between the notes, like the break between two words in speech. You can do this with breath control as well. Some would play this without tongue, others with light tongue. Excessive tonguning here would break the flow. Try with tongue, but don't interrupt the flow of notes. It's not the technique that matters here, but how you want it to sound - which is what OG was really saying.
