Photos to follow,
This is my Dolnet 'Belair' without the Belair script, just before they put it on, I believe it may have been Milandro whom advises it is basically the Belair. anyway, huge smokey player, my personal favourite alto of all time, typically French and plays exceptionally well.
About this sax, well, I am going to be 100% honest as usual and I do not care anymore, Geoff- you know the name, overhauled this for me at a cost of £320... the pads were too small, corks hanging off, it was disgraceful, in the end I had to send it to Ray Colomb but to put it right was another £245- new pads, changed springs etc, he done me a deal at this price, he basically re-overhauled it, there is £80 shipping altogether on top of this.- 4 ways.
There were a few dents and this does have a few ' battle scars' but it is a beautiful beautiful player, I have this for a low price of £650 and I am not even getting anywhere near my money back, I would sell it elsewhere for more and is also a cafe member deal. 5% to the charity, £20 postage within the UK, same terms as before, credit/debit card via Worldpay over the phone or off my website, bank transfer always preferred or Paypal if you must, but you pay the fees.
Any questions about any of my saxes please do get in touch.
