Watching this as I`m in need of inspiration.. Warning there are some quite melancholic and sad moments throughout the 50 odd minute Docu.

Clive thanks for posting this doc. I've had it recorded from "Sky Arts" for about 18 months now. It really is an inspirational watch at times. Lots of interesting comments as well..Plus some great music.. It still does come round every now and then on TV if anyone is interested..

Dexter Gordon has always been my favorite. I was living/working in Chicago when "Round Midnight" was released in movie theatres. Couldn't get anyone to see it with me so I went alone. I bought another ticket and watched it twice. His presence has a magnetic energy that has haunted me ever since.

I've never heard of or seen this documentary. Thank you for sharing, can't wait to watch the entire thing.
