Hi All, right. I have decided to move this sax on - because, I have seen one that I wanted in the first place at a reasonable price and have now made the decision not to put this one thru the workshop as I would like the other.
The sax at the moment requires some tlc as not much of it is playable (for me anyway) I expect if it was put in for repairs it wouldn't be too bad as most of the pads look ok. There are no significant dents or war wounds on the sax and it comes in the original case, which I have cleaned and aired. No m/piece I'm afraid as I will need it for the next one. I'm just looking to cover my costs so selling at the price I paid.
The lady who owned it before me said it was used in a marching band in the states, she inherited it but it was getting in her way. She said it's a nice instrument and has alot of playing potential once it is fixed up. For this reason I would like £250 & £30 to cover the post of this heavy beast to mainland UK.
I would say this is pretty reasonable as I just saw one go on eBay last week for £491 and I think it required at least a check over. It was exactly the same as mine.
PM me if you would like photos of it. I'm looking for a swift sale as I'll be getting the other one soon and my place is small. Of course 5% to Pete's charity will be donated

Hi All, wasn't expecting this sax to sell quite so quickly but one of the band members expressed an interest last night & offered the full amount less post as she lives in the next town to me so unfortunately is is already sold but thank you all for your interest as I didn't really expect anything from my yard sale post! My La Monte alto is still for sale, see it in the listings if it's of possible interest. It's a nice player
Thank you again :)
