I bought this a while ago on a whim but have only played it a couple of times. Now sticking to mostly Alto and Tenor, so time to say farewell.

It's an Elkhart 300 Curved Soprano Saxophone, cased, with accessories. These are well regarded as good instruments with a great tone.

Condition is 98%, just a little flux bleed near the body/bell join hidden away in the keywork which I've circled in the photo below, and you may find a few tiny tiny marks and scratches if you looked very very closely. Probably as close to new condition as you could find one of these.

Comes with two mouthpieces, a Bari Esprit (which I prefer) in "as new" condition and a Yamaha 5c in worn condition, each complete with ligature and cap. Also neck strap, end stopper (cork), and a selection of reeds: 2 x Rico Jazz Select 2 1/2; 2 x Marca Jazz 2; 2 x Vandoren 2; 3 x Rico Royal 2.

Case has a slight tear in the covering (see photo) which I glued down to stop further deterioration.

Pads are very good and it's ready for you to play.

£250 collected 5 mins from J1/M6 or J20/M1
...or will send by insured courier to your door in the UK, for £15.

I have one of these and it`s a fantastic Hor , it`d take a Yani to beat it and I`m not in a hurry to upgrade mine (and wouldn`t bother even if I had the cash unless I got lots of Sop gigs) . the action is fantastic and the build quality is top flight too. the Flux bleed issue isn`t unique to David's, mine has it too which is a 90s one so don`t worry about that .

If I was to sell mine (which I`m not , they`re getting thin on the ground) , I`d not sell it for a penny less than David is asking, it`s a steal at £250 , as I said, you`d have to pay over a grand more for a USED Yani (even more for a new one) to upgrade from it and even then I Doubt the difference would knock your socks off .
