Hi All,
Up for sale is my Conn 22M 1991 Tenor sax. It could be described as new condition as it has only been out of the case once with its previous owner. I purchased it as I wanted another Conn but I'm struggling not to abandon my Silver Weltklang (Clunky old thing but I'm attached to it!)
I have had it serviced, played it at band on a few Monday nights. It sounds fantastic and it's got some volume to it too. A rico royal B5 m/p and rovner ligature will be included with the UMI m/piece that's already in with it. Service receipt will be included also.
Just a bloomin great sax for the money! Lovely honey gold lacquer and very comfortable key work. I believe that these saxes were made after Conn moved back to Elkhart in the late 1980's but someone correct me if I'm wrong.
As I favour my Weltklang I really don't want this sax to sit in the case for another 20 years! It's too good for that. My asking price is £450. This includes the cost of service, mouthpiece & ligature, and no extra cost for tracked delivery to the UK.
It still has the original purchase receipt and it was a considerable sum back in 1991
