This is one of the most astonishing things I have seen/heard recently - a one man and a bass sax "ensemble". Shades of Morphine?

I'm a long time fan of his. He is far from conventional in his use of the instrument, but that is what I like about his playing.

This video reminded me of Øystein Baadsvik playing another large conical instrument and making different and interesting sounds.

Gyða is an Icelandic cellist best known for her work with the bands Múmand A Winged Victory For The Sullen. Her touch is light, ethereal, creating a most haunting sound.
