Nothing wrong with your playing, that's for sure. But I couldn't discern any differences between the reeds.

I thing the difference is more about your own feelings when you play. I loved most of all HEMP. It's sound is the closest to regular wood reeds. Frankly saying — these reeds are good for travellers, because they remain stable in different climate — hot/sun/cold/humid etc. But they can't replace natural reeds.

The sax is P.Mauriat Le Bravo 200T I endorse it. And mouthpiece is a standard 30$ Yamaha, I even don't remember the model. I'm still looking for a new one — can't decide which one to take — rubber or metal one.

I too couldn't tell any difference between the sound of the reeds, I'm taking it that you kept one video of you playing and edited the sound for the different reeds in and out but they all sounded exactly the same to me and very nice playing it was

Actually I did three videos and then I just combined them. So there are three different reeds in the video. The difference is really very slight. Maybe I shall try to make one more comparison to get more difference in sound 🙂
