Almost exactly nine years ago I posted in the Cafe about a Christmas present I'd bought myself, a Kohlert Baritone. I ended up selling it a few years ago, and I have been minus a baritone for a few years. Well, I feel in need of a new treat, so on Saturday I am off to look at another baritone. I'm dreaming of a loud Christmas.

Budget?
Preferred brand/model?

What is it? Or are you going to choose from a selection (lucky you)?

A bari is far too big for Father Christmas to get down the chimney. :(
So you'd better leave the windows open.

Only seen G4M and Rosedale under a grand recently. Will keep an eye out next few days and PM anything of a bargain nature.

There was a Rosedale for £800 fairly near to me, but it looked scruffy and the seller was a bit evasive about some changes he'd made to the listing so I didn't pursue further. There was also a nice Conn 11m which was up for £1200, but as soon as I showed any interest it went up to £2k.

A Jupiter, couple of Weltklangs, a Vivace...
...not very inspiring so far...
G4M is £895 south coast.

There's a Bauhaus-Walstein on ebay for £1100 which is tempting...
